What would you uninvent?

 Nowadays, there are lots of great new inventions in this modern society. We can’t live without technology. It makes our life more convenient and more comfortable. We rely on these inventions deeply. Sometimes I hope I have a robot to help me doing all of the things that I have to do! Sometimes things go to the two sides. Although there are lots of advantages about technology, the opposite side is that people may regress resulting from technology. Here is my opinion that the thing I would uninvent in daily life.  If there is a thing that I would uninvent, I will say MP three. I like music. I’d like to listen to music all the time. Even though this reasons, I think MP three is not a good invention. Here are two reasons. First, since MP three has invented, there are lots of resources that people can download free music on the website. It takes a lot of time and effort to make a music album. An album usually combines many people’s ideas and skills. If people all download free music on-line, the copy right is be offended. The music producers and singers can’t receive a reasonable remuneration.  Another reason is for the safety. Some people wear the earphones wherever they go, they listen to the MP three while they are walking, waiting for someone, and even riding! Some of my friends like to listen to MP three when they are riding motorcycles. I think it is very dangerous. When they enjoy the music, they don’t know the situation outside the earphones and may cause traffic problems. Here are the reasons that explaining why I would uninvent MP three.
  In conclusion, we are lucky to have lots of advanced inventions in our daily life. If we can use them in an appropriate way, we can benefit from technology. Otherwise, I would wish it didn’t invent!   

My Dream Job

  What is a dream job? We know people work for living and earning money. Sometimes it is not easy to find a job that is a work they really like. If there is a job can combine with interests, it is really a lucky thing! Now, I want to talk about my dream job.

  Being a famous rock star is my dream job. I want to be a popular rocker as a career. I love music. I had learned piano since I was 7 years old. When I was young, I wanted to become a musician. Until I went to junior high school, I found that I really like rock and roll music! I have to say that I love all kinds of music, but rock and roll is always my favorite! When I was in the teenage, I started to contact with rock music. I loved The Beatles, The Cranberries and Guns N' Roses. They opened my understanding and love for rock music. When I went to senior school, I joined the rock band club. I was a vocal. I like singing. Every time we practiced, we had a happy time with each other. After I graduated from senior high school, I started to learn drums. I have been interested in drums since I was 10 years old. Being a drummer is my dream! My dream was achieved when I was in college. I formed a band with club members and I was a drummer! We performance on school’s celebration, club festival, and many activities. I really enjoyed my band life in college. I am really crazy in music. That is why I my dream job is being a famous rock star! Rock and roll makes me energetic!

  Although being a rock star is my dream job, I know it is not easy. First of all, make a living by music requires hard work and fortune. Second, becoming a star is not as simple as we imagined. Also, I know dream job is just a dream job. But I am sure music is my life forever! Even though I can’t realize my ideal in the future, I will never give up my passion for music!

  

I, me, and myself

  Hello! My name is Stacy. Let me introduce myself to you!
  I come from Taiwan, which is called “Formosa”. It means a beautiful island in Spanish. Taipei is my hometown. It’s a modern city. The big shopping mall Taipei 101 is really famous, and there are many trade centers in Taipei. After I graduated from college, I decided to go to America by myself. Although I have been left home since I was a college student, I still want to travel to America by myself. I want to be more independent and mature. I came to America because I want to improve my English ability and I really love American culture! I study in California State University of Fullerton. I want to learn not only English but also everything about America! Life is great here! Nice weather, all kinds of food, nice people……etc. Everything is new for me!
  I have many interests. I am an outgoing girl. I like to make different kinds of friends and I like to talk with people. My favorite activities are playing drums and running. I like rock’n’roll music! I have been interested in drums since I was 10 years old. I have a band and I am a drummer. When I am playing drums, I feel energetic. Running is my favorite sport. Running makes me feel fresh and comfortable. There are many benefits about running. I will attend the color run in San Diego! I want to challenge myself to try marathon also. It is important to have some interests. We can relax ourselves by doing the things we like.  My future plan is to be a flight attendant. I like to travel. I think that working in the airplane is a good thing. I can go to many places when I am working! I like to make friends. If I am a flight attendant, I can meet different people. That’s why I want to be a flight attendant. I have been to America for 3 weeks. I want to improve my English and achieve my goal. This is a brand new life for me in America!
